Our DMX 540-8 5 channel is an excellent solution to configure up to 5 channels of control and when used with our RGBAW 5 color tape you can drive 5 rolls on each channel. With a digital display you are able to easily configure the DMX address, PMW frequency, Dimming curve and select an 8 or 16 bit resolution. With a PWM selection between 5000 and 30,000 hertz, this unit is setup out of the box to work in a studio environment. The 5000 hertz setting will work in almost all situations, but if the outputs of any DMX unit comes in close proximity to any microphone audio (low level) lines like in a desk you may experience noise. If this is the case use the 30,000 Hz setting to eliminate the noise. Making this DMX decoder the best solution for studio DMX decoders.
