The HLG-320H-12B delivers 22 amps at 12V from a single sealed IP67 housing. That’s enough to run a long 12V LED tape install from one supply, with no fans to fail or clog. It’s MEAN WELL’s workhorse driver for permanent installs and harsh environments. It runs fanless across a case temperature range of -40°C to +90°C and carries a 7-year manufacturer warranty.

The “B” in the model number means 3-in-1 dimming, through a dedicated pair of dimming leads. The driver accepts a 1-10V DC control signal, a 10V PWM signal, or a resistive dimmer, so it works with most wall dimmers and building controls without an extra interface. Leave the dimming leads unconnected and the driver runs at full output. That’s the right setup when the tape is pixel-controlled or dimmed downstream.

The driver works in both constant voltage and constant current modes. In constant voltage mode it holds a steady 12V for LED tape and 12V fixtures. Under heavy load it switches to constant current limiting instead of shutting down. Active power factor correction, a wide 90-305VAC input range and UL8750 Type HL listing make it suitable for commercial and architectural projects, including Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations.

Sizing tip: we recommend loading any driver to no more than 80% of its rating, which is about 210W for this unit. That covers roughly 17 m of 12 W/m tape. Long single runs still need power injection to avoid voltage drop at the far end.
