The Luma Apex is Inphase’s signature RGBAW tape and the one you will find on broadcast sets, live stages, and brand experiences where color has to perform under the hardest scrutiny. What makes it different from every five-in-one tape on the market starts with the chip architecture: RGB and amber share one dedicated 5050 emitter, while the 6000K cool white runs on its own separate 2835 chip. Two chips, two jobs, zero compromise.
That separation matters. Because the white channel is not competing for space inside a shared emitter, it puts out a brighter, cleaner 6000K than any five-in-one configuration can achieve. And because the amber is not a warm white approximation, it is a true deep amber at 1800K, richer and more saturated than the 2200K or 2700K amber channels found in competitor tape. On camera and in person, the difference is immediately visible.
At 120 LEDs per meter across a 5050 RGBA chip and a 2835 white chip, the Apex runs on a 3oz copper PCB for thermal stability and consistent voltage regulation across the full 5-meter roll. Running at 24V DC constant voltage with full DMX compatibility, it integrates cleanly into any professional control system. Rated for 50,000 hours at full brightness.
